Carnon Downs Caravan Park is an excellent base to explore Cornwall, just 3 miles south of the cathedral city of Truro with its excellent shopping centre, restaurants, museum and theatre.  The park has 20 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with spacious pitches, backed by hedges and flowering shrubs. Wonderful walks can be enjoyed on and from the park; the River Fal and the creekside hamlets of Penpol and Devoran are just a short stroll away. The village of Carnon Downs is small and peaceful with an inn, minimarket, garden centre, a PYO fruit farm and a fortnightly farmers’ market. Nearby Loe beach offers watersports tuition and hire.
