A CARAVAN CLUB GOLDEN JUBILEE SITE

This well-sheltered site is situated on the edge of a 520 acre country park with a vast range of outdoor sporting activities, and including use of a seven-mile stretch of safe, sandy beach a mile away. You could spend your entire holiday very happily occupied within the country park itself, and for families this may be the ideal site. You can reach the beach by walking or cycling across the park. Bird and butterfly watchers will find the area a delight, and there are a whole series of guided walks. For the little ones, the miniature railway is charming, and there’s an adventure playground too, while for the older children, there’s an equestrian centre with riding in the park and a super dry-ski slope and toboggan ride. Parents aren’t forgotten either, with the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course just 4 miles away. Dogs restricted to designated areas of beach between May & September.
