Surprisingly rural, in the shadow of an old chapel and with a pleasant open aspect, yet convenient for the motorways (M1, M6 and M42), Birmingham and the National Exhibition Centre. The Transport Museum (open weekends, Bank Holidays Easter-October) is adjacent to the site and Becketts Farm Shop with restaurant is just a ten minute walk away. Its proximity to the NEC (only 13 miles away) makes it a handy base for exhibitions such as the Caravan and Boat Show and the biennial Motor Show. It’s also marvellous for those with an interest in our industrial heritage for there are stacks of fascinating museums.
